This is the most common thing that will lead to seeing this warning. The game requires JavaScript to play - it's the 'J' in Ajax, after all. Without it, it'd just be "AAX", and that's hard to pronounce. To correct this, turn JavaScript back on. We promise not to do anything intentionally malicious.

You have an outdated or otherwise unsupported browser.

It's possible that your web browser simply doesn't support the technologies required. This can happen for any reason ranging from using a text-only or audio-only browser, to not keeping your browser up to date.

For the former case, we apologize, but the game really wouldn't translate well to a text-only or audio-only format. The game plays like most 2-D overhead graphical adventure games, and as such relies heavily upon utilizing a standard GUI interface.

If your browser is simply old, we highly recommend Opera. It's a joy to use, even if it's not well-known. Also, it happens to conform to web standards better than anything else currently available for the Windows platform. (We're looking at you, FireFox!)

You are a search engine

Search engines ignore JavaScript (as well they should, I suppose), so they get to see this, too. However, there's just no helping some automated programs.
